About this blog

This blog tracks my experience with the Honors Residential College at Virginia Tech, as well as the Presidential Global Scholars program in the Spring of 2012.  The Presidential Global Scholars program is an initiative co-authored by the Office of the University President and the Department of University Honors at Virginia Tech.  Hoping to better cultivate ideas on what it means to be a global citizen and how to impact the globe positively, the university is sending the inaugural class of students to the Center for European Studies and Architecture in Riva San Vitale, a small town in Ticino, Switzerland.  For more on the program, you can visit Virginia Tech’s official program page here.
