Probiotic!
Just sat in on a session at WQTC about the OTHER microbes in water besides pathogens…the session was called the good, the bad, and the ugly (doodle-lootle-loo;whah-whah-whah). A lot more people are starting to realize we don’t have to hit all microbes with a big hammer – and that some can out compete the pathogens.
Congrats Drs. Pruden, Edwards, Wang, and Falkinham!
Congratulations to Drs. Pruden, Edwards and Falkinham for undertaking this truly innovative research. This research will help to dispel the misconception that all microbes are bad.
