FAQ: Need to create a blog, but already have an account

If when first registering for an account, you click “just a username, please” and later need to create a blog, here are instructions for resolving this situation:

1. Go to http://blogs.lt.vt.edu and login (link on the right sidebar) with the username and password you’ve chosen.
2. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll find yourself at the welcome page dashboard, where you don’t have editing privileges. No problem–
3. Now navigate back to http://blogs.lt.vt.edu (without logging out of the system).
4. On this page, the original page where you first logged in, look in the center section and in the 3rd paragraph click on the link in the first sentence: “sign up for your own blog here” That will take you to the page to create an additional blog. Because you’re now logged into the system, you’ll be able to create a new blog just by following the prompts.
