In January 2010 I graduated from Hartwick College with a BA in History and English, and am currently a first-year History MA student at Virginia Tech. In between, I spent my time working in–and loving!–museum education and hope to return to that field after completing my studies. My research interests lie in 18th and early 19th century food history, particularly in how foodways can relate to theories of identity, and the evolution and perception of taste. I’m an active living historian and foodie, enjoy traveling, and never say no to poutine.
