HIST 3694: History Through Film. Dr. Monique Dufour. Course theme is medicine through film. Topics will include: (1.) Doctor Stories—films with physicians as central characters; (2.) Epidemics—films that dramatize disease outbreaks; and (3.) Illness Narratives—stories about the experience of illness.
