Dear GEDI folks,

My friend Meghan is bringing a projection of the movie “Girls rising”  in Regal Cinemas in Christiansburg on Thursday 7:30pm.

“Girls rising” is a part of 10×10 campaign on education of women. The movie itself tells the story of 9 girls around the world and their determination and strength in pursuing the education and better life. The movie is made by an Academy Award nominated director (Richard Robbins) and features performances from Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Selena Gomez, Salma Hayek, Alicia Keys and others.
