A Lifetime for Research

This Thursday Professor Kim came and gave us a lecture about his research topics and his trace of research.

The first and the most important thing I have learned that day is we should do what we really like. Moreover, we have a lifetime to change the research topic so we do not need to be depressed if we got in something that may not attract us that much now. It is an old saying but it inspire me a lot for the current situation.

The other thing impressing me is the eye-movement tracking system which really takes advantage of current technology. I think it not only is useful in researching the night scape, but also will have a potential in visible landscape. If I have the chance, I definitely want to learn how to operate the machine and try to apply it to the visible landscape field.
