A New Semester Begins

Classes have officially started for the Spring 2016 semester at Virginia Tech! VIPR Lab’s undergraduate technicians are enrolled in fascinating courses, such as Pesticide Usage, Foundations of Agribusiness, and Forest Ecology. PhD Candidate James Wilson will be teaching the lecture and lab for an extremely popular undergraduate course, Bees and Beekeeping. Masters Candidate James Mason is the head TA for Aquatic Entomology–another undergraduate favorite.

There is a possibility Blacksburg, VA will be getting a foot of snow at the end of this week. VIPR Lab sincerely hopes the weather will warm up soon. We are all anxiously awaiting the start of field season!
