About the Author

I am a history major and I have a love of material culture. My favorite areas of interest are Celtic history, Medieval Europe, Black Death and bubonic plague, the Renaissance, and Shakespeare. I have developed a growing interest in how blogs can be used to present history. I find blogs more engaging than typical history papers due to the ability of others to comment and have a discussion about the blog. Twentieth-Century Russia is a great time period and history in which to write a blog, for one cannot say there was nothing happening in Russia at this time!
