pardon the interruption{35}

A public service announcement from your friendly Assistant Vice President:

For students and faculty alike, this may be the most stressful week of the year. Taking exams, grading exams. It’s hard work all around. I’m grading final projects, rather than exams, which is a whole lot more fun, but I still need to get up and move every so often, and I’ll bet you do too.

So shut your office/dormitory door, and take a little dance break. Or better still, if you dare, open that door wide and crank up the music. This is the stuff flash mobs are made of.

Here’s what I’m listening to. Feel free to add some music of your own, especially you sweet young things, since some of these songs date back to my undergrad years:

 June Bug – the B-52s

June Bug from the B-52's Cosmic Thing album. Save that experience for summer vacation.

June Bug from the B-52’s Cosmic Thing. Very fond grad school memories of professors and students dancing all night to this album.

Lady – or pretty much anything by Lenny Kravitz

Lenny Kravitz, pre-Cinna

Now back to work!
