A Little About Me
I’ve always wanted a simple life. I want to laugh wholeheartedly and live fully. My passions in life are singing, writing, public relations, and teaching. I lived in the same small town for eighteen years of my life. There I grew up to become the person I am today.
There are a lot of people that do what I do. They share the same titles and activities, but they don’t share the same mind and heart. I am not just another student with a liberal arts degree; I am a communication student from Virginia Tech who’s about to graduate with a masters at age 22 and a 4.0 GPA. I am not just an employee; I work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and instruct two Public Relations classes of 80 students in total as well as work as the Communications Intern at the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
Someday I will find new habits, develop new thoughts, and create new rules. I will grow and become a new person. I will graduate from Virginia Tech with my masters and find a job in the working world & who knows — maybe I’ll go on to get a Ph.D. Whatever happens, I will meet new friends, work for new employers, gain new experience and learn new lessons from crossing paths with others. Life changes and I adjust every day, but no matter what, I will always keep true to myself and my passions. The world is my oyster and I welcome ALL opportunities with an open mind.
