For this site, I decided to follow a Redskins theme. First, I chose to title it with the slogan “Hail to the Redskins” and set the URL as “HTTR”, the acronym for that phrase. Second, I decided to use a banded template and color it with gold and burgundy to further represent the team. I used gold for the content section because I thought that either black or burgundy lettering would work there since the dark colors will be easier for people to read at length, and I chose to use white for my title text because it simply looks nice. I also added a weather app to center the site around Washington, D.C. and added a the team’s official twitter feed. However, I want to move the feed from the footer to the sidebar once I have more time to tweak it.
