In this post, I would like to share the Marshall plan scholarship, which is an exchange program between the US and Austrian Universities funded by the Austrian government.
It is a good resource to exchange knowledge in your field with Europian experts. The program is based on the proposal that you write in 1500 words and submit with the other requested documents (go here for the list of documents). The call for the submission of the research proposal happens twice in a year. The proposal could be part of your graduate research or a new topic related to your field of interest.
While still working on your own research, at the same time It’s a good opportunity to make a connection between Virginia Tech and other universities, getting to know experts in your fields in other countries, and the educational and research system in Europe.
I had the chance to participate in this program during summer and use the available academic and industry resources in my field of research, which started in Europe, and believe that it was a valuable experience to learn how they make the connection between the research and related industries.
