What we do:
Health Professions Advising [HPA] at Virginia Tech assists students and alumni pursuing a health care career in medicine, dentistry, optometry, pharmacy, chiropractic, occupational therapy, nursing, physician’s assistant, veterinary medicine, or other graduate health professions.
Any Virginia Tech student, alumnus or alumna, in any major, can use our services. Although the majority of health professions students major in a science field, it is not required.
Where to find us:
Health Professions Advising at Virginia Tech has been part of Career Services in the Smith Career Center since July 1, 2010. [History note] | (540) 231-7287

Attend an Information Session:
We have a number of information sessions and events throughout the year. We highly suggest attending an HPA 101: General Information or HPA 202: The Competitive Applicant session before scheduling an appointment with an HPA advisor. You can find the schedule of events here.
