New – Accelerated Undergraduate/MPH degree program at VT

What is the accelerated Undergrad/MPH program?

The Undergrad/MPH accelerated degree program is for exceptional Virginia Tech Undergrad students from any major who wish to start taking graduate-level (MPH) coursework during their Undergrad senior year and then finish the MPH degree with just one additional year of study.

Who is eligible? 

  • Virginia Tech undergraduate students from any major may apply.
  • Applicants must hold an undergraduate GPA of 3.5 in the last 60 credit hours.

For current juniors, there is still time this semester to apply to the program and start double-counting UG and MPH courses this coming fall semester – eligibility requirements for Spring 2019 applicants differ slightly from what is listed on the website, for more information, please join us for an information session or contact me. Spring 2019 applicants must apply by April 1. Please refer to this page on our website for admissions requirements.
