Congrats to Amy Morgan, who along with her co-first author Jessica Goodman of East Carolina University, won the “Best Student Research Paper Award” from the Family Therapy Section at the 2018 National Council for Family Relations Conference in San Diego, California.

The paper, published in the Journal of Marital and Family Therapy, emphasizes the importance of social and political advocacy in the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. The paper serves as a call to action and a starting point for all MFTs, across all settings and experience, to participate in public policy for consumers and the profession alike. Congrats Amy!
