A large contingent of VT University Librarians attended, and one of them, Ginny Pannabecker, presented a poster featuring ways the University Libraries support open data, research, publishing, teaching, and conferences.
Ginny, who works in the Scholarly Communications Unit, is one of a number of our librarians promoting Open Access. Philip Young writes the Open@VT blog (https://blogs.lt.vt.edu/openvt/), and organizes VT’s Open Access Week; Andi Ogier and Natsuko Nicholls produce the Data@VT Blog (http://datablog.lib.vt.edu/aboutus/), and organize the Data Book Camp; and Anita Walz created and updates the Open Educational Resource Guide (http://guides.lib.vt.edu/oer).
