GSA Executive Board Statement:  The Executive Board of the GSA strongly feels that both safety and funding measures taken in the wake of COVID-19 should recognize the new circumstances faced, given that we are now taking on new work, academic responsibilities, and costs associated with being remote from our campus.

Life changed dramatically for Virginia Tech’s graduate students in March of 2020. The Executive Board of the GSA wants everyone to be safe during this time. We will keep you up to date on events and University responses as we become aware of them.

Thank you to those who joined us on our June calls, scheduled for 11a.m. EST, Wednesday and Friday during the weeks of June 1 and June 8, 2020.

We have a variety of information available for you to review, including the Statement made to the BOV by the Graduate Student Representative, and the recordings of our first two June calls regarding the expected changes that will accompany the 2020 Fall Semester.
