We made it to Riva San Vitale, Switzerland, today, the last lodging destination on this trip, although we’ll still be taking day trips to many different cities for the next week.
During my time in Zurich and Basel, I noticed the primary way that many people get around is by bicycle. The city was (or is now) designed with them in mind with wide sidewalks and specific bike lanes for them. Motor scooters and bicycles with small engines are also a thing, but pedal bicycles are far more common.
With that in mind, I decided to do a series of photos of the most interesting bicycle seats I saw as we were walking through each town.
And in case you’re wondering, here’s the blog title reference!
