It’s crazy to look back just 10 years ago and see how much has changed from a technological perspective. In one of my classes, my professor was talking about HTML and CSS. He was saying that a decade ago, if you had this skill, there were high-paying jobs available to you right after college. Now, these same companies are looking for more. There are many students that now possess the skills of code, and this alone will not help them land the same job that they could have 10 years ago. Also, there are now jobs that weren’t even in existence in the early 2000s due to technological advancement. There are students in elementary school as we speak who will develop a certain skill for an occupation that is undiscovered at the moment. It really is a crazy thought.
