Texture Drawings

To start our study on texture, we were told to draw ten different types of textures. My textured objects (from top left to bottom right) were: a wooden cube, a woven basket, a knot, a leaf, a paint brush, a jacket sleeve, a thumb tack, a suede shoe, a sweater sleeve, and a pearl earring.

Through this exercise, I discovered that drawing shiny textures, like my earring or the thumb tack, were exceptionally challenging.
