Redefining Letters

The prompt assigned was to redefine two letters, focusing more on the form of the letters and their shape instead of the actual letters. We were also told to explore color and experiment with halation.

I chose to use colors that are complements of each other, red-orange and blue-green. I was interested in seeing differences in color when different tints and shades of one color are placed on its complementary color. I discovered that the darkest shade of blue-green appears bolder when placed on its complement, as opposed to when it is against a tint of the same color.
