Where are you from? Christiansburg, VA
What’s your favorite memory from the office?
It would have to be when John was promoted to Director, and working with John, whom I greatly admire.
What’s the best part of your work?
Knowing we make a difference in people’s lives.
Outside of work, what are your favorite things to do?
Read and watch Sci-Fi, gardening, and spending time with my husband.
If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Probably Mac & Cheese, just because it’s so yummy!
What is a book you think everyone should read in their lifetime?
To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee – because it shows how kindness can overcome hatred.
Where do you most want to travel, but have never been?
Africa, mainly because of the cost and I’m afraid I won’t want to leave.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?
I would live in the movie I Love You, Alice B. Toklas!, because it is about discovering things about yourself you didn’t know existed, and having the courage to find what makes you happy.
If you could time travel, would you go to the past or the future?
I would to the future because I want to travel in space and visit other planets.
If you could have dinner with any one person, living or dead, who would it be?
Carl Sagan, because I am fascinated by space.
What makes you happiest?
A day when the sky is blue, the air is warm and my roses are in bloom.
