The Virginia Tech Graduate School’s Diversity Scholars program provides support for students to develop and implement initiatives aimed at addressing and improving inclusion and diversity at the university. Diversity Scholars specialize in and advocate for awareness, knowledge and skills associated with diversity and inclusion in the Graduate School and across the university. Scholars’ goals are to develop and launch projects that create dialogue and increase advocacy, resulting in a more diverse and inclusive experience for all graduate students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and their work has a broad reach across the university. Projects can be specific to a particular curriculum or department, or can be more global.
