VT Hyperloop Team

The VT Hyperloop team tested their VHYPER pod in the aerodynamic test-section of the Virginia Tech Stability Wind Tunnel in the Kevin T. Crofton Department of Aerospace and Ocean Engineering. The test took place on March 28 and 29, 2017. The team, advised by Dr. Aurelien Borgoltz and assisted by wind tunnel engineer Bill Oetjens and research associate Tim Meyers, successfully measured lift and drag on their V-17 pod to validate their CFD modeling.
