College At Risk
I came across this article while reading through The Chronicle of Higher Education today and it really struck a nerve with the revolution that is going on to preserve and adapt our education system so that we are able to compete and thrive as a society. It is said how a decent education is starting to become a luxury to those who can afford it and more of an assembly line where we mass produce students according to our universities ideals rather than prepping students to become independent and curious thinkers who can find their own passions and flourish. I think our generation will play a pivotal role in helping to create the new face of higher education in our country and I for one am extremely eager to be a part of that change.
