We’ve gotten some exciting pitches already! For instance, Katherine Hickey (@kathhickey) says Ira should cover stories about “single dads, space exploration, foodies, [and] digital libraries.”

Local media members mingle with Ira Glass
Shortly before the performance by Ira Glass, Reinventing Radio, on Saturday, Nov. 23, local members of the media had an opportunity to mingle with the man of the hour during a private reception, held in the Miles C. Horton Jr. Gallery at the Moss Arts Center.
Media members enjoyed snacks and beverages, provided by Personal Touch Catering, and the stunning exhibition by artist Leo Villareal, Digital Sublime, as well as some quality time with Ira Glass himself. Glass took time out to chat with all sorts of media representatives, including reporters, photographers, and staff at our local NPR affiliate, WVTF.
Here are some photos from the reception.
