Indesign was one of the newer softwares we experimented with during this semester. It focuses on layouts and creating books, pamphlets, and even posters. In this assignment, I learned the importance of organization and composition in a layout. Structure also comes into play to maintain balance throughout a layout design.

Understanding the relationship between the aspects of a design made me more aware of why text and photos are placed in a certain area.  For example, the template above maintains a balance between the text and the photos. The top page is synonymous with the bottom page, by benefiting the “L” shaped layout.
