Kristin’s extension role is centered on providing nutrition leadership and expertise to families across the state of West Virginia. She believes in building food, health, and farming connections to help transform the communities in which she works. Kristin is also involved in the West Virginia Food and Farm Coalition as the chairperson of the Food Access committee. Her experience in nutrition and dietetics, farming, and community education has helped her launch successful programs connecting farmers to schools to address food access and community food security in her region.
