STEM Volunteer Opportunity

The Virginia Bioinformatics Institute, Virginia 4H, and other members of the VT community are gearing up for another great Kids’ Tech University (KTU) spring semester! KTU relies heavily on volunteers to make the program possible–we simply can’t do it without you! We are recruiting early due to a heavy volunteer need for our Jan 23 KTU afternoon portion at the Math Emporium, 12-4 pm.

We need your help on any one or all of the following Saturdays: Jan. 23Feb. 27March 19, and April 2, 2016 from approx 9 am to 4 pm. If you can only be there for a portion of the time please let me know. Any time you can help us is greatly appreciated! As I mentioned, we also need help on Jan 23 from 12-4 pm. Please see the sign-up link for more details. Note, this is only open to current VT students, associates.

In the morning, there will be a interactive session/lecture/Q & A with a renowned scientist, followed by a lunch break, then hands-on activities in the afternoon.
